Mayor Graydon Smith says he feels the sting from the recent closure of two long-standing publications in Muskoka.
Following the closure of What’s Up Muskoka and Muskoka Magazine, Smith says there would have been nothing the town could do to stop the inevitable.
Smith says he is very sad for the loss of employment for the over two dozen people laid off in this closure as well as the loss for the town.
The publications were officially closed by Postmedia Network on Thursday.
