Gravenhurst’s Mayor says the proposed medical marijuana facility on Winhara Road is a good idea for job creation. Recently, Artisan Discreet Medical Inc. submitted an application for the 8,000-square-foot lot. Mayor Paisley Donaldson says the company is applying for a producers licence with the marijuana for medical purposes regulations.

Donaldson says the industry is regulated and controlled by who the product can be shipped to. She also says the Town has received a letter from the company about their proposal and is waiting to respond.
