The District of Muskoka wants you to Pay it Forward
If you have an awesome idea to better your community, you can apply for the Pay if Forward program. The District of Muskoka is currently accepting applications. Councillor Fran Coleman says Pay if Forward offers up to $2,500 to help residents create programs that will benefit the community they live in.
The Pay if Forward program is offering to residents across the district. Coleman says it’s about engaging the community.
This is the third year for the program. Last year, there were over 60 applications. Coleman says it’s been a huge success.
There is an information session today in Huntsville at the Ontario Works Community Office at 1 King William Street Suite 5. It runs from 6pm to 8pm. You can also go to the Pay it Forward website for details.
