Fire Causes $25,000 in Damages at a Yearley Road Home

Fire crews say $25,000 in damage have been done to a home after a house caught fire in Huntsville.

The Huntsville/Lake of Bays Fire Department were called to the fire early yesterday morning on Yearley Road. Everyone got out of the home safely as smoke rose from the roof. An investigation found the cause was from an overloaded circuit.

Fire Prevention Officer Mike Vadlja reminds everyone to have working smoke and carbon monoxide alarms.
