Health Hub project off to a solid start in first year

Three Health Hubs in Muskoka are now taking patients following the start to a campaign to expand primary care in the region.
Port Severn, Dorset and Wahta are all set up in their permanent locations, however Port Carling is still waiting on the new facility to be built.
Shelly Van den Heuvel with the health hub committee says the planned mobile health hub is also just getting it’s finishing touches on the exterior.
The mobile unit will be driven to areas where the other primary care health hubs are not able to reach Muskoka residents.
Van den Heuvel and the committee have three years altogether to show the success of this new project.
