We’re not out of the gates yet when it comes to flooding. Huntsville’s Emergency Control Group met yesterday and says the second round of flooding has begun, especially at the Big East River. Residents in flood prone areas are going to see higher water levels that what’s normal for this time of year, but it hasn’t reached the same magnitude as last April’s flood. The Town is still offering sandbags if you need it. If you live in the flood prone area, continue to do what you’ve been doing to protect your property.
