Trisha Cowie has been named interim president for the Parry Sound-Muskoka Federal Liberal Association. At the association’s monthly meeting Tuesday, President Leigh Beal submitted her resignation which was accepted with regret and best wishes. Cowie says Beal worked hard for the association and will be missed.
As Executive Vice President, Cowie will be taking over as interim President and says she is excited to take on the role.
She says she would like to continue on the executive, possibly even as President.
An AGM will be scheduled in the near future. She says she’s also interested in running to be the Parry Sound-Muskoka Federal Liberal Candidate again in the next election when the time comes.
