District of Muskoka reminds residents to keep garbage sealed
With a recent incident involving a bear being shot in a residential area, the District of Muskoka is releasing tips on how to keep your garbage from attracting wild animals.
Public Awareness Representative, Quinn Michell says, its important to keep any type of leavings secured.
Michell says with garbage moving to a bi-weekly collection period, using the green bin can often help keep excess garbage from piling up.
