Students hoped to have their voices heard as they refused to go to class at Pine Glen Public School.

Students stood in the front lobby of the public school on Wednesday morning protesting against the latest strike action from the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario.

This latest phase of the work-to-rule action removes all extra-curricular activities. One of the protesting students was grade 8 student Megan Cameron. She hopes a deal can be reached so her fellow students can get their programs back.

The students continued their class refusal from 8:45am until just before 10:00am.
