Southern Georgian Bay OPP is reminding everyone to lock your vehicles when they are parked.
Over the past weekend, police have reported two different vehicle break-ins. Nothing was taken inside the vehicles but police would like everyone to take valuables with you whenever you leave your vehicle.
Officers say they regularly participate themselves in random Lock it or Lose it Campaigns where they examine parked cars. Small notices are placed on the vehicles to indicate what safety measures were ignored.
