A Southern Georgian Bay OPP Officer who was shot to death while off-duty, will be remembered with a special memorial.
On Friday Ontario Provincial Police Commissioner J.V.N. Hawkes will dedicated the bridge at the Highway 93 overpass on Highway 400 in memory of Senior Constable Tom Coffin.
The ceremony will take place at 10:30 a.m. at the Penetanguishene Royal Canadian Legion.
Coffin was shot will off-duty in 1997 and left behind a wife and three children.
