Council has approved the Band Shell Project by the Huntsville Rotary Club.
The announcement came during Monday nights council meeting. Members from the Rotary Club provided a plan and what can be expected with the project. The stage will have a minimum 30-year life span, it will be permanently placed inside Rivermill Park facing the town docks and it will be used for small and large scale performances.
Officials say they will drill test holes next month with completion expected by May 21st of 2016.
