A warning to all drivers about black ice. Police say a full sized van spun out of control this morning in the northbound lanes of Highway 11 at the 169 exit in Severn Bridge. OPP Central Media Relations Sergeant, Peter Leon says it happened just before 7am. The driver hit black ice and ended up rolling in the ditch. Leon says drivers need to be cautious around melting snow.

Leon says today’s accident might have been caused from water coming off the bridge and then freezing. The driver has not been charged. The road was reopened shortly after 8am.
