The Huntsville Public Library has been nominated for an award at the provincial level.

The library is being nominated for the Angus Mowat Award of Excellence at the Ontario Public Library Service Awards. This award is given to libraries that show outstanding service and sustainability towards their town. Board Chair Sue Dixon says one of those services is their ’Seed Library’.

Dixon says it’s an hour to be nominated for the award. She says she is looking forward to more creative ideas the library has to offer in the future.

The winners will be announced at the associations conference held on January 28th.
