Gravenhurst receives $25,000 provincial government grant

Gravenhurst is looking to meet the needs of its aging population.
According to town CAO Scott Lucas, the town’s major demographic is 45-65 and they need to focus on the needs of the senior population.
The town has recently received $25,000 through the Age Friendly Community Planning grant.
Officials will put together a strategic plan to figure out how to best use these funds to the benefit of the community senior group.
