A project that provides needed necessities and some comfort to women in crisis has arrived in Muskoka.
The Muskoka Shoebox Project is gearing up to gather shoebox donations for this Christmas season.
Organizer Penny Burns says that the box needs to be filled with at least $50 worth of items.
Burns says things like feminine products, chocolates or candies and even gift cards are welcomed inside the boxes.
For more information and to find out where to drop off shoe boxes got to their website.
Becker Shoes in Bracebridge will hand out free shoe boxes.
