Bracebridge couple welcome homeless man into their home

A homeless man in Bracebridge has found kindness in a couple who let him into their home.
Bailey Merritt-Hirseland and her fiance brought Chris Barnes some food one night on Thanksgiving weekend as he waited outside the District of Muskoka employment office for it to open on Tuesday.
But Bailey says she couldn’t just leave him there.
Barnes has been living with Bailey and her fiance since, and she says they’re helping him get back on his feet.
She says Barnes has been on the streets since he was 15 when he was abandoned by his mother after their house burned down.
Bailey and her fiance have started a GoFundMe campaign to help Barnes start a new life.
