Gravenhurst not happy about highway maintenance

The town of Gravenhurst is sending a strong message to Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne about poor winter maintenance on Muskoka’s highways. In a town meeting Tuesday, Deputy Mayor Jeff Watson says for those travelling up and down the highways it’s been a detriment. Watson says he hopes to send a message loud and clear that these problems were not here two years ago when the contracts were changed. District Councillor Bob Colhoun says part of the problem he thinks is the lack of equipment. Gravenhurst is following in the footsteps of the town of Huntsville after council communicated they’re equally as frustrated.
