Scouts in Bracebridge met with scouts all over the world in an online forum and over the airwaves.
On Saturday the scouts had an opportunity to talk to their peers through shortwave radios and online using programs like Skype.
It was all part of the Jamboree on the Air which has been running for 58 years and Jamboree on the Internet, running for 19.
The radio technology was provided and tutored to the scouts by the Muskoka Amateur Radio Club.
