Environment Canada predicting major snowfall in Barrie

If you’re heading south of Muskoka this weekend you may want to change plans.

Environment Canada is calling for a snow squall to hit the Barrie area over Friday night and into Saturday.

Meteorologists are calling for up to 10 cm of snow to fall by Saturday evening.

Heavy snow can cause white out and other adverse driving conditions.

Currently the weather service is only predicting a possibility of flurries in the Muskoka area.
