Police have recorded high numbers of seat belt infractions this year.
Almaguin Highlands OPP says they laid 25 seat belt charges from September 23rd and Friday. This is all part of their Fall Seat Belt Campaign, reminding everyone it is the law to wear a seat belt while in a vehicle.
So far this year 42 people have been killed on OPP patrolled roads and the result was because they weren’t wearing their seat belts.
