Canadian Action candidate talks affordable housing for seniors in Parry Sound-Muskoka

There is a large population of seniors in the Parry Sound-Muskoka area.
This has become one of the hot-button issues for candidates to face going into the election.
Canadian Action Party candidate for the riding, Gordie Merton, says proper housing is one of the biggest issues.
Merton says his party plan is to take a closer look at how affordable housing can be used to benefit quality of life in the area.
Merton will be facing incumbent Conservative candidate Tony Clement, Pirate Duncan Bell, Green Party Glen Hodgson, Marxist-Leninist Al Smith, NDP Matt McCarthy and Liberal Trisha Cowie.
Election Day is October 19th.
