Police on the hunt for suspicious male

Police are warning the public about a man driving a white van. Just before 7pm on Friday, a female was walking on Elvyn Crescent in Oro-Medonte when a white van stopped and the driver asked if he could take her home. The female ran to a neighbour’s home and the male drove off.  The driver of this van is described as in his fifties or sixties with dark brown shaggy hair. The van is an older model, possibly a Chevrolet cargo with tinted windows. Police are interested in talking with this man. Anyone with information is asked to call crime stoppers or police.
