There is a lot of concern about job availability and sustainability in Parry Sound and Muskoka. NDP federal candidate for Parry Sound-Muskoka, Matt McCarthy says there have been a lot of jobs lost in Northern Ontario over the past year.
McCarthy, says the local economy needs to be strengthened to help with job creation.
McCarthy will be running against incumbent Conservative candidate Tony Clement, Liberal Trisha Cowie, Green Glen Hodgson, Canadian Action Gordie Merton, Pirate Party Duncan Bell and Marxist-Leninist Al Smith. The election is October 19th.
