MARXIST-LENINIST CANDIDATES BELIEVES TELECOMMUNICATIONS SHOULD BE PUBLIC ENTITIES

In Parry Sound-Muskoka, broadband is important for both residents and the tourism industry.  Marxist-Leninist candidate Albert Gray Smith says that things need to change for internet to be better in Canada and more affordable.

Smith says his party believes this kind of infrastructure needs to be publicly run.

He says internet and other telecommunications would be more affordable if it were publicly run.

Smith is running against incumbent Conservative Tony Clement, Liberal Trisha Cowie, NDP Matt McCarthy, Green Glen Hodgson, Pirate Duncan Bell, and Canada Action Gordie Merton.  The election is set for October 19th.
