Muskoka Airport Reopens After Summer Long Construction

The runway is back open at Muskoka Airport.

The $6.5 million repairs begun since the start of spring, which closed down the runway. Airport Manager Mark Stirling says the 6,000 ft long runway received several improvements.

The area was officially re-opened on Saturday morning as members from the airport, municipality and the District of Muskoka helped cut the ribbon.
