Bracebridge students hampered by lack of custodial services

Phase two of the CUPE education work-to-rule action is affecting student events in Bracebridge.
The Bracebridge Muskoka Lakes High School students were hoping to have a special colour run today.
However, according to students at the school, since custodians are suspending some of the cleaning services at schools including cleaning hallways, they were unable to use the special coloured substance that was ordered from Toronto.
Due to the work-to-rule action custodial staff, librarians, childcare workers and clerical staff withdraw services.
CUPE was not available to make a comment on this.
Students still did run for Terry Fox today and are hoping to raise over $1,000 for the organization.
