Protestors in Huntsville today for overpriced Hydro One bills
It’s a protest against Hydro One. Today in Huntsville protesters will be speaking out against overpriced bills and a failed system in this province wide event. Organizer Sheri Boles says it’s important for us to speak out.
Thousands of Ontarians have been complaining about overpriced hydro bills and poor customer service. The protest is happening at 215 Main Street West from 11 until 1pm. Boles says she is hoping for a good turnout.
Parry Sound-Muskoka MPP Norm Miller will be there to answer any questions. The Ontario ombudsman is currently investigating Hydro One’s billing practices. For more information on this province-wide movement go to the Join the Fight Against Hydro Rates Facebook page.
