A very special award is helping Syrian refugees continue their education in college.
Georgian College has recently announced the Award for Refugees and Displaced persons.
The award will cover all education costs for one Syrian refugee per Georgian College Campus, including in Muskoka.
Syrian refugees looking to qualify could start schooling as soon as January depending on the program.
The award is renewable for each year the student attends Georgian College as long as they remain in good academic standing.
