A local MMA athlete is home after loosing his first fight as a professional.
Huntsville native Kyle Nelson headed into his fight on Saturday night with a 6-0 record. Nelson was unable to take down his opponent from Albania, loosing in front of a sold out crowd in Michigan. He says he will not let this loss affect him mentally.
The fight was available online to stream. Nelson says he was very proud to hear many friends and family members were able to watch him during his five rounds inside the steel octagon.
