An Ottawa native became the first woman to cross the finish line at the full-Ironman.
Robyn Hardage posted a one-hour swim early yesterday morning. But, she managed to gain back some time in the bike and running courses. She finished just short of 10 hours. She says even though the swim seemed long, the hardest part was not in the water.
The 1,300 racers started in the water at 6:45am yesterday.
