A bear in Bala caused some distress over the weekend.
The animal had managed to get into town and had climbed up a tree in Margaret Burgess Park.
OPP was called and officers contacted a local conservation officer for help.
Jolanta Kowalski with the Ministry of Natural Resources adds the officials then led the bear through town and back to the woods.
She says that the bear has not been seen since.
