Moose FM 105.5 becomes ‘Huntsville’s Biggest Variety’

Monday, August 24th at 8:00 am, CFBK 105.5 Moose FM in Huntsville officially became Moose FM 105.5 Huntsville’s Biggest Variety.  The station formerly was a World Class Rock station.

Regional Cluster Manager of Cottage Country Jenny Hodge said “the format switch was a decision not taken lightly”.

“We wanted to play a larger variety of music that included the biggest hits from the late 70’s right up to today.  The playlist will include songs from Van Halen, Katy Perry, AC DC, Fleetwood Mac, Maroon 5 and Bon Jovi.  We feel the new format will reach a larger audience,” said Hodge. “We didn’t have it quite right. The station is a better fit for the Town of Huntsville and for our larger Muskoka community.”

“We want to be the sound in people’s homes and businesses,” added Hodge. “A bit of everything, not just rock, but hits of all genres; The Moose will be the station that everyone can agree on. We will continue to be Muskoka’s number one source for news and local information.”
