Plans are moving ahead to have Gravenhurst’s arena named after local Paralympic medalist Graeme Murray. Over the weekend, an event was held at the Oar & Paddle Restaurant in Gravenhurst for the sledge hockey star to welcome him home from Sochi. Mayor Paisley Donaldson says she’s so proud of his accomplishments and is looking forward to the renaming of the arena, which will be newly renovated before then.

Donaldson says no official date has been set yet for the dedication.
