Lightning can strike a home within the blink of an eye.
Several homes in the Muskoka area have been hit by lightning. causing fire, and destroying the structure. Environment Canada Warning Preparedness Meteorologist, Geoff Coulson says lightning will take aim at anything attached to the home.
Coulson also says that lightning can hit specific circuits such as electronics which can start a fire immediately.
