Environment Canada Investigates Possible Tornado
Environment Canada is looking into a possible tornado in Bracebridge.
Reports came in yesterday afternoon around 4:00pm that a tornado had hit the area around the Bracebridge Fairgrounds. Warning Preparedness Meteorologist Geoff Coulson, is asking the public to send them any videos or photos of damages from yesterday’s storm to help them in their investigation.
Summer is the time of year the province can expect tornado watches or warnings. Coulson says the timeline runs from mid-April to the beginning of October.
