Tiny Township will be the site of a very historical celebration this year.
The 400th anniversary of the first mass celebrated in Ontario by Samuel de Champlain will take place this year in Carhagouha.
While usually celebrated on the 12 the event has been moved to the Saturday, August 15.
The special mass will run from 11 a.m. until noon, and attendees can be shuttled in from Lafontaine municipal park.
