The Ironman Triathlon has received funding to further sports tourism.
Parry Sound-Muskoka MP Tony Clement announced $50,000 in funding to support the triathlon, and to further sports tourism in the Huntsville area.
Huntsville is one of the few spots in Canada to host the full-length Ironman. The race will take place in Huntsville for the next three-years.
The race takes place August 30th.
