Experts say hot cars can be pet killers

Humans definitely face some dangers when it comes to hot weather, but animals are just as sensitive to the heat.
Leaving an animal in a car in the summer can quickly lead to a life or death situation for the animal.
Bracebridge Veterinary Hospital doctor Shallen Langley says there is no good situation to leave a dog in a car.
Langley says the dog’s blood pressure will lower and organs will begin to fail, eventually leading to death.
She says even leaving a window open won’t make much of a difference.
