Council asking for new ideas to replace jumping pad on river

Everyone in Bracebridge loves to take a cool dip in the summer.
But, the current location of the jumping pad on the Muskoka River could pose as a safety risk due to water depth.
During a special general committee meeting, council heard an alternative to the jumping pad in the form of a floating dock.
However, the majority of council agreed it would be an expensive use of taxpayer dollars.
Councillor Mark Quemby says there could be other locations for a jumping pad.
The suggestion from the town was sent back by council to be reviewed.
