Bracebridge has high hopes for ‘What’s Cooking’ event
The Town of Bracebridge is hoping for the best with the second annual What’s Cooking Bracebridge. Unfortunately the event was not as financially successful as some might have hoped in its first year. This year the town has agreed to take on 50% of the deficit should a worst case scenario happen.
Mayor Graydon Smith says they are hoping this event will eventually be able to stand without city financial assistance.
The Business Improvement Association and the Chamber of Commerce have agreed to split the other 50% equally. Smith says this is a worst case scenario plan and they are hoping the event will be more of a financial success this year.
