The District of Muskoka’s Engineering and Public Works Committee has passed a resolution that will allow portions of highway 169 to widen up in the Bala area.
The proposal comes forward for no other reason than to maintain steady and safe traffic control.
The approval still needs to go through council on July 20th where it will than determine if road maintenance will be required.
