Earth Day fire safety warning

Earth day is coming up and fire departments are urging you to avoid using candles. Huntsville and Lake of Bays Fire Departments says instead try using flashlights, battery operated lanterns or flameless candles. Huntsville Fire Chief, Steve Hernen says if you choose to light candles make sure to check your smoke alarms as there is always an increased risk of fire.
