Gravenhurst will be getting a helping hand. Friday morning MP Tony Clement announced that The Federal Economic Development Initiative for Northern Ontario (FedNor) has invested $131, 500 to the community of Gravenhurst.
After stating how proud the government was to be partnered with the Town of Gravenhurst, Clement mentions the reason for choosing Gravenhurst.
Of the total, one hundred thousand dollars will go towards assisting the community with a marketing tool and communications plan designed to promote the area as an ideal place to work and grow a business, to live and invest. While the other thirty one thousand, five hundred will enable the community to hire a youth intern to support recommendations for the downtown development plan.
