One Huntsville family can thank their working smoke alarms after a fire spread inside their home.
Early Sunday morning Huntsville/Lake of Bays Fire Department said they responded to a fire on Yearly Rd. in Huntsville.
Crews say they found heavy fire in the roof that spread into the attic. The family of 3 managed to get out safely along with their 2 dogs.
Reported damages done to the residence is estimated at $300,000.00.
The Investigation on the incident is ongoing.
