Georgian Bay Township names community chair for nursing station project

The Township of Georgian Bay has announced a chair person for the Port Severn Nursing Station project.  On Friday, it was announced that Katherine Breeson of Honey Harbour will be the community chair of the project and will be introduced to the mayor and council on April 15th.  Katherine will be working as the community liaison with this District of Muskoka led initiative to establish a permanent full time Nursing Station in Port Severn.  She says she’s extremely excited about the opportunity to champion the Nursing Station project in Port Severn as it will dramatically enhance the lives of both permanent residents and seasonal cottagers and visitors.  Residents are urged to continue to support the Nursing Station by submitting pledges to the Township of Georgian Bay offices to showcase community pride and support to this potential initiative.
