South Muskoka Shield Hires Ex Player to staff

A familiar face will be walking through the locker room doors this September for the South Muskoka Shield.

But, he won’t be lacing up his skates. Instead, he will be putting on his shirt and tie.

Colby Jordan, who played two seasons for the South Muskoka Shield junior A hockey club was hired this past weekend as part of the coaching and player development staff.

With being a former player, the Huntsville native explains how he can bring his experience to the the team and help them become successful.

In 50 games with the Shield, Jordan put up 34 points. He mentions that he is very honoured to be part of the organization that he competed hard for in his junior career.
