A stolen vehicle has been recovered after it had been taken from a driveway early Tuesday morning.
Huntsville OPP received a call just after 6:00am that the missing 2001 KIA had been taken from a driveway on Muskoka Rd #3 north in Huntsville.
While investigating the theft of the vehicle, it was found in a ditch not far from where it had been taken. No one was around the vehicle.
Police would like to remind everyone about the Crime Prevention Lock it or Lose It campaign. This campaign has been part of the OPP for several years. The condition your vehicle is left in when parking it for the night could mean protecting your vehicle from theft. A reminder to remove the keys from the vehicle, take all personal and valuable items with you or keep them out of plain view and finally, lock the doors.
