FedNor invests thousands to the Rosseau Culture and Arts Project

The Federal Government has invested $31,500 in Arts and Culture in the Parry Sound Region.

Our MP Tony Clement announced the funding yesterday that will enable the Rosseau Culture and Arts Project to develop and implement a marketing and strategic plan designed to support small businesses in the West Parry Sound area.

The investment will be used to hire a youth intern for a one-year period who will be responsible for implementing arts and cultural events and activities, membership recruitment, forming corporate partnerships, and developing marketing and promotional packages to enhance tourism across the region.

The Rosseau Culture and Arts Project is a not-for-profit organization with a mandate to create, produce and foster arts and cultural activities that promote community and contribute to the local economy.
