Travelers are being urged to exercise caution on the roads today, with a snowfall warning in effect for our area. Environment Canada says it may be spring but Mother Nature is still in a wintery mood, with a potent disturbance from Southern Michigan carving a path across Southern Ontario this morning. A relatively brief but intense period of precipitation including snow, freezing rain, and rain is expected to hit the province. The Bracebridge area could get five centimetres of heavy snow and forecasters are warning about the potential for rapid accumulation and reduced visibilities on the roads.
